Erick Rangel-Ibarra, a DACA recipient, faces murder charges for the 2020 death of Lesly Palacio in Las Vegas.
He reportedly fled to Mexico shortly after the incident, assisted by his father, who served time in prison.
Rangel-Ibarra was arrested in Mexico in July 2024 and extradited to the U.S. in August 2025.
His next court appearance is scheduled for September 3, 2025.
