James Clacher: From Gym Boss to Convicted Rapist

James Clacher, a 57-year-old former gym owner from Scotland, has been found guilty of raping two women he met through dating apps Tinder and Bumble. His crimes, committed in 2019 and 2020, were followed by a dramatic attempt to evade justice, during which he faked his own death and fled to Spain. Clacher was apprehended in May 2024 after nearly two years on the run.
