UAB CampBIZ: Fostering Business Skills in Youth

The Copper Country Intermediate School District’s Career and Technical Education (CTE) program is adapting to include artificial intelligence tools in its curriculum. Director Corey Soumis announced the shelving of the Graphic Arts and Marketing program for three years, integrating its competencies into the Business and Entrepreneurship Program. Students will engage in projects that involve community interaction and real-world applications, such as creating marketing materials for local events.
Notre Dame's Entrepreneurship Hub
The South Bend Entrepreneurship & Adversity Program Collaboration Hub at Notre Dame celebrated its first anniversary, designed to support entrepreneurs from disadvantaged backgrounds. The hub offers hands-on consulting and training sessions, helping 107 entrepreneurs in its inaugural year. Justin Hur, senior manager of the hub, noted the program's focus on providing tailored solutions to business challenges.
Regnier Venture Accelerator at UMKC
The University of Missouri-Kansas City has rebranded its E-Scholars program to the Regnier Venture Accelerator, enhancing its mission to support early-stage entrepreneurs.
