Launch of the Second Phase of the Renewed Hope Employment Initiative

The first phase of the RHEI successfully trained 32,692 unskilled and unemployed individuals, with 5,532 beneficiaries receiving loans and starter packs to establish their businesses. Agara noted that the second phase will build on these achievements, with a focus on enhancing employability and fostering entrepreneurship. The program will leverage the NDE's core departments, including Vocational Skills Development, Small Scale Enterprises, Rural Employment Promotion, and Special Public Works.
Educational Support through the Renewed Hope Initiative

First Lady Oluremi Tinubu recently distributed N47 million and laptops to 47 scholarship beneficiaries from various tertiary institutions. Each recipient received N1 million and a laptop to aid their studies. Tinubu emphasized that the scholarship program is not politically motivated but aims to improve lives and encourage students to explore entrepreneurial opportunities alongside their education.
