Vice President Kashim Shettima emphasized the importance of local value creation, stating, “We are determined to reverse solar panel importation into Nigeria.” The country aims to increase its solar capacity significantly, moving from 144 MW in 2024 to ambitious targets under its $3 billion national clean energy plan.
