Pokémon Trading Card Game Pocket (TCG Pocket) is set to celebrate its first anniversary on October 30, 2025, with significant updates and the launch of the Mega Rising expansion. This expansion introduces Mega-Evolved Pokémon for the first time in the app, featuring three new booster packs: Mega Rising: Mega Gyarados, Mega Rising: Mega Blaziken, and Mega Rising: Mega Altaria. In addition to the Mega Rising expansion, several new features will be implemented on October 30, 2025. A new share feature will allow players to gift one card of rarity levels 1-4 to friends each day, enhancing social interaction within the game. Furthermore, the range of tradable cards will expand to include ?? and Shiny 1–Shiny 2 rarity cards, alongside the existing cards from the latest expansions. The Wonder Pick feature will also see improvements, with unobtained cards from the latest expansion appearing more frequently, and the number of owned cards displayed on each card.

To commemorate the anniversary, a First Anniversary Celebration Campaign will run from October 29, 2025, to December 16, 2025. Players will receive a free booster pack of each Mega Rising type upon their first log-in during this period. Special missions will also be available, allowing players to earn a first-anniversary emblem and other rewards. Additionally, two PROMO Reissue events will take place: the PROMO Reissue Drop Event (October 29 to November 8) and the PROMO Reissue Wonder Pick Event (October 29 to November 13), where players can obtain previously released A Series promo packs.
