Nobu Hospitality has announced the signing of two new projects in Azerbaijan and Montenegro, marking a significant expansion of its global portfolio. The developments will be executed in partnership with Sea Breeze, a trusted development partner with whom Nobu has collaborated for over a decade. Each project will feature an 80-room hotel, 100 branded residences, and a signature Nobu restaurant, catering to both hotel guests and local residents.
The Nobu Hotel, Restaurant, and Residences in Baku will be part of the Sea Breeze Resort located along the Caspian coast. This site will include five luxurious villas and a range of amenities such as a wellness spa and extensive meeting spaces. Similarly, the Montenegro project will be situated within a Sea Breeze Resort overlooking the Adriatic Sea, offering private waterfront access.
Trevor Horwell, CEO of Nobu Hospitality, expressed enthusiasm about introducing the brand to Azerbaijan and returning to Montenegro, emphasizing the cultural and natural beauty of these destinations. Emin Agalarov, founder of Sea Breeze, highlighted the significance of this partnership in enhancing the resort city's appeal to global tourists.

The announcement of these new sites follows a busy period for Nobu, which has also signed a project in Nashville, Tennessee, as part of the Oracle campus development. Additionally, the Nobu Hotel & Restaurant in Rome is set to open in October 2025, further solidifying the brand's growing presence in key international markets. Earlier in 2025, Nobu also revealed plans for new locations in Manchester, UK, and Krakow, Poland, as well as a restaurant opening in New Cairo, Egypt, scheduled for 2026.
