Mike Patton, renowned frontman of Faith No More, has teamed up with The Avett Brothers to form the collaborative project AVTT/PTTN. Their self-titled debut album, released on November 14, 2025, features eight original songs co-written by Patton and the Avett brothers, Scott and Seth Avett, along with a rendition of “The Ox Driver’s Song.” The album was co-produced by Patton, Scott Avett, and Grammy-winning engineer Dana Nielsen.
To support the album, AVTT/PTTN has announced a U.S. tour set to commence on March 28, 2026, at the Big Ears Festival in Knoxville, Tennessee. The tour will include 21 performances across various cities, concluding on June 20, 2026, at the Genesee Theatre in Waukegan, Illinois. Notable stops include Louisville, Nashville, San Francisco, and Brooklyn.

Promotional Activities
In addition to the tour, AVTT/PTTN will engage in promotional activities in New York City, including an album signing at Rough Trade on November 24, 2025, and a discussion and performance event at the Grammy Museum on November 25, 2025, featuring comedian Eric André. The group will also make their late-night television debut on NBC’s The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on November 26, 2025.
