Omar, a representative of Al-Majd, stated that the organization is focused on helping people escape dire conditions in Gaza, asserting, "I'm helping people who want to live, not die inside Gaza." However, he did not provide clarity on the organization's connections to Israeli authorities or its financial operations. The Israeli Ministry of Defense did not respond to inquiries regarding Al-Majd's affiliations.

Human rights advocates have expressed alarm over the potential for these emigration efforts to constitute "forcible transfer," a violation of international law. Tania Hary, executive director of Gisha, emphasized that the promotion of "voluntary departure" amid unlivable conditions in Gaza reflects a troubling pattern. Omar Shakir from Human Rights Watch noted that the Israeli government's long-standing policies have systematically obstructed Palestinians' rights to return to their homeland.

While Al-Majd claims to have facilitated multiple flights from Gaza, only three have been confirmed by independent sources. Additionally, the Israeli government has not clarified the extent of its involvement with Al-Majd, leaving many questions unanswered about the legitimacy and motivations behind these flights.
