Dr. Qureshi brings over 30 years of experience in transportation engineering and public works management to this role. He holds a doctorate in Civil Engineering from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, and both bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the University of California, Berkeley.

Professional Background

Dr. Qureshi is a registered Civil and Traffic Engineer in California and has held various leadership positions in public works and engineering across multiple counties, including Glenn, Monterey, and San Bernardino. His previous responsibilities included overseeing operations related to airports, engineering, flood control, roads and bridges, solid waste, surveying, and transit in Glenn County. Most recently, he served as Chief Strategy Officer and Senior Project Manager for Lin Consulting, Inc., where he focused on consulting and government practices.

In addition to his extensive public sector experience, Dr. Qureshi has an academic background, having taught transportation engineering and directed research at the University of Missouri-Rolla and Jackson State University. His expertise includes proactive maintenance of infrastructure and fostering strong teams to enhance community stability and leadership.
