Stenergard Advocates Aid

Maria Malmer Stenergard, Sweden's Foreign Minister, told the EU Foreign Affairs Council in Brussels that the EU has paid Russia $142 billion more for energy than it has given Ukraine in aid since the invasion began.
She called for increased assistance to Ukraine and pressure on Moscow, including using frozen Russian assets to benefit Ukraine.
She highlighted Spain's commitment of $946 million in aid to Ukraine as a positive step.
