The victim was instructed to pay in cash and to keep the matter secret.
Believing in the efficacy of the treatment, the victim purchased the initial product. Subsequently, Guruji prescribed another item, ‘Bhavana Booti Taila,’ costing INR76,000 per gram. The victim, with financial assistance from his wife and parents, bought 15 grams for INR17 lakh. Under pressure from Guruji, he took out a bank loan of INR20 lakh to acquire an additional 18 grams of Devaraj Booti and borrowed money from a friend to purchase 4 grams of Devaraj Rasabooti, totaling another INR10 lakh.
