Sean Combs Challenges Netflix Docuseries Amid Legal Battles

Sean “Diddy” Combs has initiated a legal confrontation with Netflix over the streaming service's upcoming docuseries titled “Sean Combs: The Reckoning,” produced by his rival Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson. Combs’ legal team has issued a cease-and-desist letter to Netflix, demanding the cancellation of the docuseries, which they describe as a “shameful hit piece.” The letter claims that the series utilizes “stolen footage” that was never authorized for release. This footage, highlighted in the official trailer, was filmed shortly before Combs’ arrest in September 2024 and is part of a long-term documentary project that Combs has been working on since he was 19 years old.
