Foxtel Group is set to consolidate its streaming services by integrating the FLASH and LifeStyle platforms into BINGE, effective December 16, 2025. This strategic move aims to create a comprehensive streaming hub for Australian subscribers, combining entertainment, lifestyle programming, and live news into a single service. The transition will culminate in the retirement of both FLASH and LifeStyle in February 2026.

Beginning December 16, BINGE will enhance its offerings by adding NBC News NOW, Sky News Extra, and Sky News Weather, which will contribute over 25,000 hours of additional news content annually. This expansion will increase the total number of live news channels available on BINGE to 13, joining existing channels such as Al Jazeera English, Bloomberg News, CNBC, CNN International, FOX SPORTS News, GB News, MS NOW, NHK World Japan, Sky News Australia, and Sky News UK.

Hilary Perchard, CEO of Foxtel, Kayo Sports, and BINGE, emphasized the benefits of this consolidation, stating, “These changes make sense for all subscribers. For BINGE subscribers, they receive more value and choice with a larger selection of live news channels. For our FLASH and LifeStyle subscribers, they now have their news and lifestyle together in one place, alongside the world’s best movies, TV shows and documentaries.” He further noted that simplifying the app ecosystem would enhance the customer experience by leveraging technology from Foxtel's parent company, DAZN.
