Eleanor Hague, a 16-year-old pupil at Tadcaster Grammar School, died at the scene when a white Mercedes Sprinter minibus carrying nine students collided with a Hyundai i10 on December 1 in Tadcaster.
The Hyundai driver, a 40-year-old woman, was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.
Tadcaster Grammar School closed temporarily to support students and staff affected by the tragedy.
Police are appealing for witnesses and dashcam footage.

A 17-year-old boy from Boca Raton died after being struck by a pickup truck during a confrontation early on November 30.
The victim sustained life-threatening injuries and was transported to a local hospital.
The incident occurred around 2:30 a.m. near 1300 SW 14th Avenue.
The driver, a 19-year-old man, allegedly fled but was later detained by police.
The Traffic Homicide Unit is investigating, and authorities are seeking information from witnesses.
