Officer Returns to Duty

Officer Radule Bojovic of the Hanover Park Police Department returned to duty after being detained by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) during "Operation Midway Blitz."
Bojovic was arrested for allegedly overstaying a tourist visa but was released on bond after the department confirmed his legal work status.
The department stated that Bojovic passed background checks and would receive back pay for his detention period.
The Department of Homeland Security reported over 4,200 arrests in the Chicago area as part of the operation.
