Orchestras Host Concerts

The Lawton Philharmonic Orchestra will host the Delights Concert on December 9 at Cameron University Theatre, featuring Dr. Hyunsoon Whang and Maestro Jon Kalbfleisch.
The Bryan High School Orchestra will present an Electric Light Orchestra concert on December 8 at 7 p.m., with a light show.
The Winter Wonderland of Music concert, directed by Dr. Patrick Phalen, is scheduled for December 3 at 7 p.m.

Dickinson Ensembles Perform

The Dickinson City Strings, Orchestra, and Band performed a holiday concert at Dorothy Stickney Auditorium featuring Shostakovich and Rimsky-Korsakov.
Directed by Priscilla Keogh and Matthew Goettle, the 34-member ensemble delivered renditions of Vivaldi’s Gloria in Excelsis Deo and Holst’s First Suite for Military Band.
The program featured guest performers from Bismarck, highlighted ensemble's century-long history as noted by board president Rich Brauhn, and concluded with Leroy Anderson’s A Christmas Festival.
