Congress Approves Defense

The House passed a $900 billion National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) by a 312-112 vote to increase troop pay and fund defense infrastructure.
The bill includes $800 million in Ukraine security assistance over two years and codifies 15 of U.S. President Donald Trump’s executive orders, including a policy banning men from women’s sports teams in military academies.
The NDAA moves to the Senate for consideration.
