Suzanna’s Kitchen, a food manufacturer located in Suwanee, Georgia, has initiated a recall of over 62,000 pounds of fully cooked, bone-in breaded chicken products. The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s (USDA) Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) announced the recall after discovering that the products contained soy, a known allergen that was not declared on the packaging. The affected chicken was produced on October 16, 2025, and shipped to restaurants across the United States.

The recall specifically involves 18-pound cases containing four units of “FULLY COOKED BREADED CHICKEN PORTIONS,” which bear the case code “P-1380 126237 B30851 23:11 K04” and the USDA mark of inspection with establishment number “P-1380.” The mislabeling issue arose when Suzanna’s Kitchen identified that chicken containing soy was incorrectly labeled with a code indicating it did not contain allergens.

While no confirmed adverse health reactions have been reported, the FSIS has emphasized the potential risk to individuals with soy allergies, which can lead to serious or life-threatening reactions.
