A recent Harvard-Harris survey conducted from December 2-4, 2025, reveals that a majority of Americans favor a “wait and see attitude” regarding President Donald Trump’s actions, rather than outright opposition. The survey, which included responses from 2,204 registered voters, found that 60 percent of respondents believe Democrats should adopt this cautious approach, while 40 percent advocate for opposing everything Trump does.

Other areas of approval include reducing government costs (48 percent), administering the government (45 percent), foreign affairs (45 percent), the economy (44 percent), and inflation (40 percent).
