Urbana Driver Fleeing

A red Buick Verano speeding on Mathews Avenue in Urbana, Illinois, around 2:13 a.m. struck a University of Illinois police squad-car, killing a pedestrian and injuring the officer.
The pedestrian was identified as 22-year-old Perry Lee.
Perry Lee died at CARLE Hospital.
The driver fled on foot after the crash.
