Samaria-Baqaa Rescues

The Samaria-Baqaa Rescue Unit rescued a family after their vehicle was swept into the Shiloh River, pulling them from the roof of the sinking car with a rescue boat.
Ofir Levy, head of the Special Rescue Unit, noted that strong currents posed challenges during the operation.
Separately, a man was rescued after falling into the Sorek Stream while riding a horse.
Both operations concluded successfully with no reported fatalities.
