On January 4, 2025, the body of a newborn baby boy was discovered in a rubbish bin at the Yong Peng Northbound Rest and Relaxation (RnR) stop in Batu Pahat, Johor. The discovery was made by a cleaner, Jamaludin Mesman, around 2:25 PM.
