Rockefeller Tree Donated

Crews will remove the Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree, a Norway Spruce, after its final display.
It will be milled in New Jersey and made into lumber for Habitat for Humanity.
This is the first year the wood benefits a new home for Domonique Williams-Abubaker in Albany.
Tishman Speyer, manager of Rockefeller Center, will donate the milled lumber to housing initiatives.
Its removal ends New York City's holiday season.

Williams-Abubaker Lights Tree

Domonique Williams-Abubaker of Habitat for Humanity participated in final lighting of the 2025 Rockefeller Christmas Tree on January 10, 2026.
She will receive a piece of the 74-foot tree for her Habitat for Humanity home in Albany.
The lumber will be milled in New Jersey and transformed into shelving and cabinetry, marking Habitat for Humanity’s first benefit from the Rockefeller partnership begun in 2007.
