Rahman Pleads Guilty

Oaveed Rahman, of Basildon, England, pleaded guilty to animal cruelty and fraud charges for causing unnecessary suffering to 21 dogs and a cat.
He has been remanded in custody since his arrest and will be sentenced on February 20.
Investigators found 37 deceased dogs at his Basildon property last May.
Rahman advertised the site as a rescue center, which authorities say was false.
Inspector Steve Parry noted the community's concern about Rahman's actions.
