Yorba Linda California Temple
The Yorba Linda California Temple is set to hold a public open house from April 30 to May 23, 2026, excluding Sundays, with a media day scheduled for April 27. The temple will be dedicated on June 7, 2026, at 10 a.m., with a rebroadcast at 2 p.m. This temple, announced in April 2021 by President Russell M. Nelson, will serve the nearly 729,000 Latter-day Saints in California and is designed to bring the house of the Lord closer to its members.
Huehuetenango Guatemala Temple
Groundbreaking for the Huehuetenango Guatemala Temple will occur on March 14, 2026, presided over by Elder Patricio M. Giuffra, the Central America Area President. This temple, announced in October 2022, will be located at 18 Avenida, Zona 4, El Terrero, Huehuetenango, Guatemala. It aims to serve over 292,000 Latter-day Saints in the country, where six temples are either operating or under construction.
Beira Mozambique Temple
The Beira Mozambique Temple will be the first Latter-day Saint temple in Mozambique, located on a 2.5-acre site at Avenida 24 de Julho. Plans include a single-story structure of approximately 10,000 square feet, along with patron housing and arrival facilities. This temple was announced in April 2021 and is expected to serve the nearly 32,000 Latter-day Saints residing in Mozambique. A second temple, the Maputo Mozambique Temple, was announced for 2024.
Spanish Fork Utah Temple
The Spanish Fork Utah Temple will be built on an 8.7-acre site at the corner of 100 South and 2550 East, with plans for an approximately 80,000 square foot multistory building. Announced in April 2025, this temple will add to the 32 existing temples in Utah, which serve around 2.2 million Latter-day Saints. President Nelson emphasized the importance of regular temple attendance, stating it increases members' capacity for virtue and charity.
