Godoy Celebrates Release

Ángel Godoy, a Venezuelan political activist, was released after about one year as a political prisoner under the Maduro regime.
He returned to Los Teques and expressed remorse for missing his son’s high school graduation.
Godoy’s son, Miguelangel Godoy Briceño, asked for his help with university studies.
Godoy, 52, marked his release on a poster his wife used during detention, writing "RELEASED."
