Overview of the 40th Anniversary Edition

Rush has announced the release of a 40th anniversary edition of their 1984 album *Grace Under Pressure*, set to launch on March 13, 2026. This reissue is part of a broader campaign by UMe/Mercury and Anthem Records to celebrate the band's discography. The *Grace Under Pressure* box sets will include original album tracks, a newly commissioned alternate mix by Terry Brown, and era-specific concert recordings, alongside Dolby Atmos mixes.

Available Configurations

The anniversary edition will be available in five distinct configurations:

The Super Deluxe Editions will feature a comprehensive collection of materials, including a 52-page hardcover book with liner notes by Geddy Lee, marking his first contribution to a Rush reissue. The vinyl records will be pressed on 180-gram audiophile black vinyl at GZ Media in the Czech Republic.

Audio Features and Remastering

The first disc of the Super Deluxe Edition will present the original 1984 stereo mix, newly remastered from the original analog master tapes by Sean Magee at Abbey Road Studios. The Blu-ray will include advanced audio options such as 48kHz/24-bit Dolby Atmos and 96kHz/24-bit Dolby TrueHD 5.1, along with 37 minutes of previously unreleased live performances.

Producer Richard Chycki commented on the Atmos mixes, stating, “Listening to *Grace Under Pressure* in Atmos, you can really hear Rush’s progress and development as artists.”

Collectibles and Memorabilia

In addition to the audio content, the Super Deluxe Editions will include exclusive collectibles such as:

  • A replica concert ticket from the Maple Leaf Gardens show
  • Three lithographs of band member live photos

All items will be packaged in a premium lift-top box.

Significance of the Album

*Grace Under Pressure* is Rush's tenth studio album and marked a significant evolution in their sound, incorporating new technologies and musical styles. Geddy Lee remarked on the album's innovative approach, highlighting the use of electronic drums and a broader soundscape.
