Mamdani Condemns Hate

Kiara Moore, a 24-year-old NYPD school safety agent, was arrested in the 103rd Precinct area on Tuesday for endangering a child's welfare.
Separately, 32-year-old Eric Zafra-Grosso was arrested for attacking Rabbi David Shushan in Forest Hills while making antisemitic remarks.
Shushan fought back and was unharmed.
Mayor Zohran Mamdani condemned the attack, and officials called for action against rising hate incidents.
Zafra-Grosso was released on supervised release after arraignment.

Ruis Arrested for Theft

NYPD Lieutenant John Ruis, 61, was arrested in Manhattan for allegedly stealing a $275 pendant from an Alo Yoga store.
The Internal Affairs Bureau is investigating the incident.
Ruis was working as a security guard at the time.
He faces charges of petit larceny, official misconduct, and criminal possession of stolen property.
He has been suspended without pay.
