Zacharevic Sues AirAsia

Penang-based artist Ernest Zacharevic filed a Feb 9, 2026 Kuala Lumpur High Court suit against AirAsia and Capital A Berhad over alleged unauthorized use of his artwork 'Children On A Bicycle' on an AirAsia aircraft in Oct–Nov 2024.
The suit seeks a court declaration of ownership and an order to stop further infringement.
Zacharevic alleges AirAsia has used his works without permission since 2016.
AirAsia has been contacted for comment.
