The family adventure film “Kangaroo Kids” has been acquired by Scatena & Rosner Films, which will handle its North American release on February 17, 2026. The film, directed by Fairai Richmond, features a cast that includes Branscombe Richmond, Kathleen Kinmont, and Emily Ashby. The narrative centers around a young girl named Johnny, portrayed by Josefina Baeza, who works at her mother’s struggling zoo. The plot unfolds as Johnny forms a bond with a famous kangaroo brought in to help save the zoo, leading to a series of comedic attempts by con artist Jacob, played by Robbie Allen, to steal the kangaroo.
