Little Spark Films, based in Arlington, Texas, is transitioning into a full-fledged genre studio, aiming to produce original content, acquire new projects, and collaborate as co-producers on external productions. Leadership and New Appointments

The studio has also appointed Mary Beth McAndrews, former editor-in-chief of Dread Central, as director of marketing and social media outreach, and Preston Fassel as chief creative officer and head of development. Dallas attorney W. Glenn Crowell has been named in-house legal counsel and executive managing director, overseeing the Little Spark Film Fund, which will facilitate partnerships with outside productions.
Current Projects and Future Developments
Little Spark Films is currently in preproduction on two feature films set to be shot in Texas this year: Cory Ahre’s action film “Bum Rush” and Cameron Hazelwood’s family mystery “Bridget Wrona.” Additionally, the studio is producing “A Ben Evans Film” by Bret K. Hall and James Henry Hall. Plans are also underway to develop two projects from Fassel, titled “The Bride in Blue” and “The Alley Man.”
