Malick Bauer, a German actor recognized for his role in Disney+’s “Sam — A Saxon,” is stepping into the role of feature film producer with the upcoming ensemble crime drama tentatively titled “Triptych.” The film, which also stars Iwan Rheon from “Game of Thrones,” is described as a high-concept anthology thriller that delves into the psychological processes that can transform peaceful individuals into violent actors, highlighting the fragile boundary between civility and brutality.

“Triptych” is co-produced and directed by Isaiah Michalski, marking his directorial debut. The film is executive produced by Anna Winger, an Emmy Award-winning showrunner known for “Unorthodox.” Currently in production, “Triptych” has recently commenced principal photography on its third and final storyline in Berlin, following earlier shoots in London and the surrounding state of Brandenburg. The production employs an improvisation-driven approach, a method that diverges from traditional filmmaking practices.
