Museum Unveils Shipwreck
- The National Museum of the Great Lakes announced on February 18, 2026 that it identified the Clough, a 125-foot shipwreck in Lake Erie.
- The Clough was built in 1867 and sank on September 15, 1868 while transporting stone.
- Cleveland Underwater Explorers (CLUE) helped confirm its identity after years of research.
- A temporary exhibit will display the Clough and the identification process from February 18 to April 16, 2026.
