A reported 62% of these businesses have encountered communication with malicious websites, and 34% have experienced attempted exploitation from outside their networks. Unlike large corporations that can absorb such incidents, smaller organizations often struggle to manage these threats without centralized visibility. Margalit emphasized the importance of managed IT and security service providers, stating, “Most small businesses do not purchase cybersecurity solutions directly from vendors. They work through external providers, so it was critical to enable centralized management of thousands of organizations without requiring complex infrastructure for each one.”
