The primary item involved in the recall is the "Trader Joe’s Chicken Fried Rice," packaged in 20-ounce plastic bags. These bags contain stir-fried rice, vegetables, seasoned dark chicken meat, and eggs, and carry best-by dates from September 8, 2026, to November 17, 2026. The establishment number P-18356 can be found inside the USDA mark of inspection on the packaging. Additionally, Ajinomoto is recalling 1.53-kilogram cardboard packages containing six bags of "Ajinomoto Yakitori Chicken with Japanese-Style Fried Rice," which were exported to Canada.
