Community Initiative Launched After Southport Knife Attack

Leanne Lucas, a yoga teacher and former primary school teacher who was critically injured in the attack, has founded a Community Interest Company (CIC) named "Let's Be Blunt." This initiative aims to promote the use of round-ended kitchen knives, which Lucas argues are less likely to cause fatal injuries compared to pointed-tip knives. She emphasizes the need for both knife manufacturers and the public to reconsider their choices in kitchen utensils, highlighting the potential dangers posed by pointed knives.
