2/24/2026, 11:46:24 AM

Reunion and Tour Details

Tomahawk, the noise-rock supergroup featuring Mike Patton (vocals), Duane Denison (guitar), John Stanier (drums), and Trevor Dunn (bass), is set to embark on their first U.S. tour in 13 years. This tour, titled "A Huge Waste of Your Time and Money," will celebrate the band's 25th anniversary and will feature special guests, The Melvins. The tour kicks off on July 18, 2026, in Nashville, Tennessee, and concludes on August 15, 2026, in Los Angeles, California. The tour will cover various cities including Austin, Dallas, New Orleans, Atlanta, Philadelphia, Brooklyn, Boston, Chicago, Denver, Seattle, and San Francisco.

Background of Tomahawk

Formed in 1999, Tomahawk has had a sporadic performance history, with their last tour occurring in support of their 2013 album, *Oddfellows*. The band released *Tonic Immobility* in 2021, but the pandemic prevented them from touring in support of that album. The upcoming tour marks a significant return to the stage for the band, which has not performed live since 2013.

Key Figures and Their Statements

Duane Denison expressed enthusiasm for the tour, stating, “In the spirit of the Olympics, Team Tomahawk has decided to rise up and go for the gold once again—also competing will be our cohorts the Melvins.” Buzz Osborne of The Melvins added, “This tour is a no brainer. I can’t wait. A Melvins/Tomahawk trek will be a stone groove.” The Melvins will perform as a four-piece band, featuring Osborne, Dale Crover, Steven McDonald, and Coady Willis.
