On February 23, 2023, Acting Commissioner-General Yoo Jae-seong of the Korea National Police Agency signed a memorandum of understanding with Mr. Andrei Passos Rodrigues, director-general of the Brazil Federal Police. This agreement marks the first official collaboration between the two nations' police forces, aimed at enhancing joint prevention and investigative efforts against the so-called “Korea Wave scams.”
