Hong Kong Launches Start-up Express 2026 to Boost Innovation

The Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) has opened applications for the Start-up Express 2026 program, aimed at fostering innovation and helping local tech ventures expand into international markets. The initiative targets start-ups incorporated after January 1, 2019, that have raised less than US$10 million in funding and possess a valid Hong Kong business registration. The application deadline is set for April 28, 2026, with the final pitching day scheduled for June 25, 2026. Other notable participants include CELLmeric Limited, specializing in gene delivery systems for immunotherapy, and Entoptica Limited, which has developed a portable device for early-stage retinal disease detection.
