Major Tour Announcement

Iron Maiden has revealed the Australasia dates for their highly anticipated Run For Your Lives World Tour, marking a significant milestone in the band's 50-year history. The tour will include performances in major cities across Australia and New Zealand, with shows scheduled for November 2026. The band will perform at Spark Arena in Auckland, New Zealand, and at various venues in Australia, including the Adelaide Entertainment Centre, AAMI Park in Melbourne, Allianz Stadium in Sydney, and the Brisbane Entertainment Centre.

Celebrating Milestones and Special Guests

This tour represents Iron Maiden's eighth visit to Australia since their first performance in 1982. The band will be headlining outdoor stadiums for the first time in both Melbourne and Sydney. As a special highlight, they will be joined by Megadeth, who are also on their final world tour. Iron Maiden's bassist and principal songwriter, Steve Harris, expressed excitement about the collaboration, stating, “We are very proud to have them as our special guests on their last-ever world tour.”

Setlist and Concert Experience

The Run For Your Lives World Tour will feature a setlist that includes iconic tracks from Iron Maiden's first nine albums, such as "Hallowed Be Thy Name," "Run To The Hills," and "The Trooper." The band aims to enhance the concert experience with state-of-the-art visuals and has requested fans to limit phone usage during performances to foster a better atmosphere. Additionally, the tour will reintroduce the popular Eddie’s Pop-up Dive Bar experience, which combines Maiden fans, Trooper Beer, and exclusive merchandise.

Tour Logistics and Ticket Sales

Pre-sales for Iron Maiden Fan Club members will begin on March 2, 2026, with general ticket sales starting on March 6, 2026. This tour is expected to be the band's largest in Australasia, according to promoter Paul Dainty AO, who emphasized the significance of headlining stadiums for the first time.

Conclusion of the Tour

Following the Australasia leg, Iron Maiden will conclude the Run For Your Lives World Tour with two final shows in Yokohama, Japan, on November 24 and 25, 2026. These performances will mark the band's last appearances before taking a year off from touring in 2027. The tour, which began in Europe, will have spanned nearly two years and will culminate in a well-deserved break for the band.

What's Next

After the tour, Iron Maiden plans to focus on individual projects, with members exploring solo endeavors during their hiatus. The band is also set to celebrate their anniversary with the release of a new documentary titled "Burning Ambition" on May 7, 2026, and has been nominated for induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
