Additionally, four Americans of Korean descent were included in this evacuation effort. Thailand plans to evacuate 300 nationals from Iran, including diplomats, overland via Turkey, with Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul indicating that around 100,000 Thai nationals are living and working in the Middle East, including 60,000 in Israel.

The conflict has severely affected air travel in the region. Air Canada has canceled flights to Israel and Dubai until March 22, with plans to resume services on March 23, contingent on the situation. The airline stated, “We are monitoring the situation and will adjust our schedule accordingly.” This disruption has left tens of thousands stranded across the Middle East, highlighting the broader implications of the conflict on international travel.
