This project revisits his groundbreaking 2000 film, Amores Perros, which is celebrated for its innovative storytelling structure. In Sueño Perro, Iñárritu explores hundreds of hours of footage that were not included in the original film, a process that took seven years. He describes this endeavor as a way to rescue and reinterpret the raw materials of his debut, which has retained its impact over two decades.
