Controversy Surrounds Release of Malayalam Film "Patriot"

The upcoming Malayalam film "Patriot," featuring prominent actors Mammootty and Mohanlal, is facing a ban from the Film Exhibitors United of Kerala (FEUOK) ahead of its scheduled release on April 23. The ban arises from a dispute over the revenue-sharing model proposed by producer Anto Joseph, who has requested a 60:40 share of the theatrical collections for the first two weeks, deviating from the established distribution formula.
