Vietnamese Thriller "Sister Sister" Launches on Apple TV

Vietnam-based sales agent Skyline Media is set to release the psychological thriller “Sister Sister” on Apple TV across 36 international territories starting March 8, 2026, coinciding with International Women’s Day. This marks the most extensive release of a Vietnamese title on the platform in the past decade. The film will be available in North America, including the U.S., Canada, and several Caribbean nations, as well as in various European countries such as the U.K., Germany, and France, and in Oceania, specifically Australia, Fiji, and Micronesia.

Directed by Vietnamese-American filmmaker Kathy Uyen, “Sister Sister” is her debut feature film. The narrative follows a celebrity radio presenter who takes in a woman she rescues from a violent attack, leading to a complex psychological struggle between the two characters. The film features notable Vietnamese talents, including supermodel-actress Thanh Hang, pop icon Chi Pu, and actor Lanh Thanh. It was produced by Muse Films and has previously achieved significant commercial success, ranking as the second highest-grossing Vietnamese thriller of 2019 with a box office revenue of $2.7 million.
