Marcelino Gillen-Hernandez, a 58-year-old illegal immigrant from Mexico, has been charged with multiple felonies, including arson and criminal mischief, following a series of incidents in Wahneta, Florida. The Polk County Sheriff’s Office initiated an investigation after a homeowner reported two arson incidents on her property.

In addition to the arson charges, Gillen-Hernandez confessed to vandalizing the Placita Mexico store in Wahneta on three separate occasions. The total damage caused by his actions is estimated to exceed $1,600.
