Rabbi Matt Cutler, leader of the Reform synagogue Congregation Gates of Heaven in Schenectady, New York, recently faced a series of antisemitic threats that culminated in the arrest of Joshua J. Wood, 45, of Troy, New York. Wood was apprehended on Thursday evening by local police, with assistance from the New York State Police Counterterrorism Intelligence Unit and the FBI’s Joint Terrorism Task Force.
