Red Cross Relief Efforts

The American Red Cross deployed over 100 disaster workers to Hawaii to aid flood-affected communities.
The floods were caused by winter storms known as Kona lows, displacing about 5,500 residents and prompting over 230 rescues.
The Red Cross volunteers have established 18 shelters, offering food and support to evacuees.
Rachel Flanigan, Executive Director of the Red Cross Southern Nevada Chapter, said recovery efforts will continue in coming weeks and months.
