In the early hours of Monday, an arson attack targeted four ambulances belonging to Hatzola, the Jewish community ambulance service, in Golders Green, north-west London. The Metropolitan Police confirmed that the incident is being treated as an antisemitic hate crime, with CCTV footage showing three individuals setting fire to the vehicles. Fortunately, no injuries were reported.

According to the Community Security Trust (CST), the year 2025 recorded 3,700 anti-Jewish hate incidents, marking a 4% increase from 2024. Official figures indicate that Jewish individuals face the highest rate of religious hate crimes in England and Wales, with 106 incidents per 10,000 population reported in the year leading up to March 2025.
