"Thaai Kizhavi," featuring Radikaa Sarathkumar as the elderly Pavunuthaayi, has achieved significant commercial success, grossing over INR75 crore worldwide. Released last month and directed by Sivakumar Murugesan, the film is set to premiere on JioHotstar on March 26. Notably, Radikaa has made history as the first actress in Tamil cinema to negotiate a profit-sharing agreement as part of her contract, a move she believes should inspire younger actresses. “I said I wanted to be paid more, because I deserve it. And, we decided on profit sharing. I think all actors should follow this,” she stated, emphasizing the importance of women asserting their value in the industry.
